Accommodation – Types of Accommodation

a. Staying with a family
After careful inspection, our School has chosen Greek families who mostly live in the suburbs with an easy access to the city centre and the school.
Staying with a family offers many advantages. Students are in touch with Greek reality and practise the Greek language in a warm and hospitable environment.
Houseguests have their own room, they take breakfast with the family and they also use the common rooms of the house.
Accommodation usually begins on Sunday – before Monday when lessons start – and lasts until Saturday after the end of the programme.

b. Hotel accommodation
The School, after an extended research, has chosen hotels appropriate for the accommodation of the students. Second or third category hotels are offered which are situated near the School. Single, double or three – bed rooms are available, including breakfast (or lunch / dinner, if the guests wish so). There are also alternative solutions to accommodation in other hotels, apart from the ones usually recommended.

c. Accommodation in a furnished flat
The flat that we offer in Athens is located 100 metres from our School. It has two bedrooms and a living room but it is frequently used by a single student. It is also fully furnished and has a big bathroom, kitchen utensils, a phone for local use, a television and air conditioning. There is a cleaning service once a week and blankets, bed sheets and towels are provided. No breakfast is included.

Transport from and to the airport

Students who are interested in this possibility should notify the School on time about their flight number and the exact time of their arrival or departure.
